These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases or the use of services offered via the HIWEPA website, www.hiwepa.ch (hereinafter referred to as the website). Any special conditions that may apply to the purchase of certain products or the use of certain services are defined below. Any offers of online products and services are valid only while they are visible on the website and while there are sufficient quantities available. The images shown on the website are for illustrative purposes only and shall not be binding in any way. Any information and explanations provided in catalogs and brochures are for guidance only and without obligation. HIWEPA accepts no responsibility for any errors or inaccuracies in connection with the images, diagrams, explanations, etc. in the aforementioned catalogs or brochures.
The prices shown on the website are exclusively in Swiss francs and euros, including VAT. They do not include any handling fees or shipping costs. These will be charged separately. For all orders, payment will only be accepted in Swiss francs and euros. HIWEPA is entitled to change its prices at any time. However, those prices valid on the date of the order and stated on the order confirmation will always apply to the products ordered by customers.
Orders take on a final and binding effect only after they have been accepted by HIWEPA. By placing an order, the customer accepts the present general terms and conditions of sale in full and without restriction, without prejudice to any other existing provisions or conditions. HIWEPA reserves the right to refuse any order placed by a customer.
The historical securities you have purchased are ( independent of their maturities) either perforated or otherwise marked as void and are therefore invalid. Accordingly, they have no nominal or collateral value, are not listed, and thus cannot be traded on any stock exchange.
It is noted that the goods we offer are antique securities, i.e., historical items. Any signs of wear and tear are not considered defects. Defects are only mentioned in the description of the securities if they impair the overall visual impression. All information and images of items in our electronic and physical product offerings are specified as standard images and are not to be understood as representations of the actual items. Furthermore, all information and images are provided to the best of our knowledge and belief, and we accept no liability for any errors. (However, we are pleased to provide you with additional images of specific items via email upon request prior to the finalization of your order).
The invoice will be issued for the price stated on the order confirmation sent to the customer. The invoice is payable on a net basis within 10 days of receipt. If the customer is unknown to us, delivery will be made after prepayment.
Customer data is stored as part of data processing for contract execution and to simplify the processing of future orders. All customer data is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties.
It is the customer's responsibility to immediately examine the goods upon delivery and to make any complaints about defects or deviations relating to their order. Such complaints or claims must be communicated to HIWEPA by fax or registered mail as soon as possible and no later than eight (8) days after delivery. Incomplete or damaged or soiled items will in general not be accepted for return. The shipping costs in the event of a return of goods must be covered by the customer.
If the customer fails to fulfill any or all of their obligations or fails to meet a payment deadline, HIWEPA reserves the right to demand immediate payment of all outstanding amounts, regardless of their nature, to discontinue all deliveries, or to terminate the ongoing contract.
This contract is subject to Swiss law.
